For many years, her music videos were a regular feature during "Short Stuff" on The Learning Channel's "Ready, Set, Learn." Currently, she can be heard on children's radio around the world including her own radio show "Rachel's Fun Time." She also co-produces and hosts a television show that airs in Middle Tennessee called "My Storytime Place."
Rachel's nine CDs, stimulate imaginations with stories and songs. They have received rave reviews and garnered numerous regional, national and international awards. Her CD "Join the Parade" was hailed as one of the best children's recordings of the year. Her CD "Tap Those Toes" rose quickly to the #2 top selling CD on Cdbaby out of all musical genres when it was released. Reviewers highly recommended it for children's library collections and multi-cultural programs.concerts, Rachel presents keynotes and workshops that are full of creative ideas, musical activities and fun for educators, librarians and parents.
As a trained Arts Integrated Specialist with the Tennessee Arts Commission; artist in residence in schools through various arts organizations; and Master Artist with the acclaimed Wolf Trap Institute, Rachel has helped thousands of people recognize the power of the arts as an educational tool.
The Nashville-based performer is also a talented writer, vocalist and
actor who has sung in bands and orchestras, performed in children's
theater, and appeared in several television and radio commercials.
