Children love my Itsy Bitsy Spider puppet and spout. I bought a plastic spout from a home improvement store, mounted it with hot glue on a square piece of 2 x 4, and screwed on 4 plastic chair caps for legs. Place it in a small see through container. Attach a piece of clear tread or lightweight fishing line to a spider. My spider was a spider ring. The legs were pretty long so I trimmed them so my spider would look smaller. Drill a hole in the top of the spout.
Your new spider puppet can crawl up the spout as everyone sings the “Itsy Bitsy Spider.” Pour water down the spout to wash your spider out!
